Mississippi Mud Brownies

  • 1/2 c all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 c cocoa powder
  • 3/4 c granulated sugar
  • 1/3 c packed light-brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 c butter, melted and cooled slightly
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3/4 c chopped pecans or almonds, divided
  • 2 1/2 c miniature marshmallows

Chocolate Frosting:

  • 1/4 c salted butter
  • 1/4 c milk
  • 1/4 c cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 c powdered sugar

  • 2 eggs
  • 2 c. milk

Salted Caramel Apple Cheesecake Pie

Crust:

  • 1½ cup graham cracker crumbs (~12 full graham crackers)
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ⅓ cup unsalted butter, melted

Caramel-Pecan Layer:

  • 3/4 cup salted caramel sauce
  • 1 cup chopped pecan

Salted Caramel Sauce:

  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 12 tablespoons unsalted butter, at room temperature, cut into pieces
  • 1 cup heavy cream, at room temperature
  • 1 tablespoon fleur de sel (or any other flaky sea salt)

Apples: 

  • 5 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • ½ cup light brown sugar
